The International Association for English Research (IAER), established in Birmingham, UK in July 1992, is an international non-governmental organization and an international language organization.
The International Association for English Research has been conducting research around
English-language scholars for a long time, covering literature, linguistics and English culture. Nowadays, the society has members from 18 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, China, Japan etc. It brings together experts and scholars in the field of English research, reflects the frontier issues of English research, and makes important contributions to the internationalization and popularization of English.
The purpose of the association are as follows:
I. Strengthen communication among international English researchers;
II. Exchange the experience of English teaching and learning in different countries;
III. Participate in international English research projects and provide support.
国际英语研究协会（ I AER ）于 1992 年 7 月在英国伯明翰成立，是一个国际性的非政府组织和国际语言组织。
长期以来，国际英语研究协会一直围绕英语语言学者开展研究，研究范围涵盖文学、语言学和英语文化。目前，协会成员来自美国、加拿大、英国、法国、澳大利亚、中国、日本等 18 个国家。它汇聚了英语研究领域的专家学者，反映英语研究的前沿问题，为英语的国际化和大众化做出了重要贡献。
协会的宗旨如下：
一、加强国际英语研究者之间的交流；
二、交流各国英语教学经验；
三、参与国际英语研究项目并提供支持。

学会会员简介
As an authoritative academic organization in the field of international English research, the International Association for English Research has been conducting research around English-language scholars for a long time, reflecting the frontier issues of English research, and making important contributions to the internationalization and popularization of English. IAER has also attached great importance to the development of English education for a long time, and attaches great importance to students' research on international English. Therefore, since the approval of the Council in 2018, IAER has set up 200 new student member each year for the application of global college students. After the approval of the Council , and pay the annual fee of 100GBP to the secretariat on time to become a student member.
Application conditions: Anyone who has the qualifications of university students, agrees with the constitution of the association, actively participates in the activities of the association, and has outstanding achievements in the field of English research can apply, and the qualifications will be based on the best.

国际英语研究学会作为国际英语研究领域的权威学术组织，长期围绕英语组织学者展开研究，反映英语研究的前沿问题，对英语的国际化、普及化作出重要贡献。学会亦长期重视英语教育的发展，十分重视学生对国际英语的研究，因此自2018年理事会批准，学会特设每年200位可新增的学生会员名额供全球大学生申请，经理事会批准通过后，按时缴纳年费100GBP至秘书处即成为学生会员。
申请条件：凡具有大学院校学生资格，赞同学会章程，积极参与本会活动，且于英语研究领域拥有卓越成果者均可进行申请，择优批给。
申请资料：1.有效身份证明文件 2.学生证明文件 3.个人简历 4.相片（会员证用）
大赛结束后，每个组别排名前五的选手均可获得国际英语研究学会学生会员名额一份！
Student Member Rights:
*As a student member of IAER, it represents the student's leading level among global students in the field of English studies and is a symbol of the highest honor.
1. Have the opportunity to participate, lead or volunteer in IAER activities.
2. Have the opportunity to be promoted to a member of the Youth Affairs Committee.
3. After graduation, the student will have priority when applying for the general membership of IAER.
学生会员权利：
*作为学生会员，代表着该学生于英语研究领域属全球学生中的领先水平，是份至高荣誉的象征。
1.有机会参与、领导或志愿参与IAER的活动。
2.有机会晋升为学生事务委员会成员。
3.当该学生毕业后，申请IAER的普通会员时，将享有优先权。
